Sometimes the media shifts and plugs the hole. Please remove the filter, tap it gently on the counter and try it again. If this does not help, please contact our product support department.
Yes. The filter removes chlorine and chloramine.
Yes. The filter contains media that removes fluoride.
No. Only microbiologically-safe water should be used in the pitcher.
Yes. We use only BPA-free plastics.
No. Use room temperature or cold water only.
Water pitchers should be disassembled and washed with soapy water at least once a month. Let the pitcher air dry after washing.
No. It is not dishwasher-safe.

No. The filter does not remove minerals or salts. The alkaline water conditioning media in the cartridge will add a small amount of calcium and bicarbonate to the water.
The effectiveness of all alkaline water filters is regulated by the pH and water chemistry of the water added to the pitcher. If the pH is below 7.0, it is very difficult for alkaline media to raise pH.
